If you need to call law enforcement but you are not in an emergency situation, call the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department at (662) 234-6421. It is only necessary to call 911 when a medical, police or fire emergency has taken place.

Information about a crime not actively taking place should be reported to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department at (662) 234-6421 or Lafayette County Crime Stoppers at (662) 234-8477.
