Call or visit the Lafayette County Circuit Clerk’s Office to ensure your voter registration is up-to-date. Your voter registration becomes inaccurate anytime you change addresses — even if those addresses are in the same town. Each time your address changes, you must call the Circuit Clerk’s Office to ensure your registration remains accurate.
People who register to vote through voting drives or the Department of Public Safety should expect a voter registration card to arrive in the mail within 10 days of registering. If they do not receive one in this period of time, they have not been registered properly. The only way to be sure you are still an active voter is to call the Circuit Clerk’s Office.
The Circuit Clerk’s Office can be reached at (662) 234-4951.
